The NZ Sign and Print Expo made a significant comeback in July, after a 5-year hiatus due to Covid-related disruptions, presenting an excellent opportunity for Carr New Zealand to re-establish its presence within the sign and print industries.
The Expo took place from the 5th to 8th of July, and was based at the Due Drop Event Centre in Manukau . It is labelled New Zealand’s biggest graphic, sign, display large format print, and allied industries event, and featured a diverse array of industry suppliers. This central gathering point facilitated valuable reconnections with various stakeholders over the course of the 4-day event.
The showcased technology and innovations were particularly impressive, demonstrating the industry’s progress and potential.
Decrastrip were the worthy recipients of the Best Stand Award. A truly innovative display, which we are proud to report had been put together utlising our PVC-free Media board, which is suitable for outdoor use, and 100% recyclable.
In preparation for the event, our new Media Sales Manager, Americo Blanco, put in substantial effort to curate a comprehensive display of all of Carr’s Media Fabrics commonly used in the industry.
We took the opportunity to proudly present our newest Blaze 200gsm Backlit Textile, which was prominently displayed in a lightbox, garnering positive attention.
On the other side of our stand, we displayed a range of tools and machines catering to various finishing processes in the industry, including eyeleting, welding and hemming, . Our tool range also included our Weldy brand Car Wrap Kit and holster, which received enthusiastic feedback from those who had the opportunity to try it during the exhibition.
We extend our gratitude to the New Zealand Sign and Display Association (NZSDA) for co-ordinating the event, and providing such a great opportunity for print and sign suppliers to come together under one roof.
