On September 6th, Viking Roofspec hosted a Tradies Breakfast, bringing together installers and suppliers to celebrate International Bacon Day (officially marked on September 7th).
Despite the weather not cooperating, the event went ahead seamlessly, thanks to the flexibility of moving into the warehouse. Jerry manned the BBQ, serving up delicious bacon rolls that kept everyone fuelled and happy. Matthew Allan, of Carr New Zealand was also on hand to showcase Leister’s full range of roofing tools and accessories.
A highlight of the morning was Gerhard of Viking, who demonstrated the welding capabilities of Leister’s UNIROOF 700. Attendees were particularly interested in its data recording capabilities and the detailed reporting it offers through the MyLeister App, making it a standout for precision work.
The event was not just about bacon and tools though, as it provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with a number of professionals across the roofing industry.
As part of the celebration, there was also an exciting prize draw. Three lucky winners walked away with Leister Roofing Multitools, crafted in collaboration with Victorinox, the iconic Swiss Army knife brand.
