Leister’s UNIFLOOR 500, an automatic floor welder known for its reliability, is a modern reinterpretation of the well-established UNIFLOOR E/S models.
It is designed for welding joints in various types of resilient floor coverings, including PVC, CV, PUR, antistatic ESD floors, as well as for sealing joints in natural coverings like linoleum and rubber. The UNIFLOOR 500 boasts a sophisticated design and features Automatic Nozzle Positioning (ANP), a proprietary innovation by Leister, allowing the hot air blower to automatically rotate in and out with the simple press of a start button.
Moreover, the hot-air blower can retract automatically upon encountering obstacles, such as walls, minimizing damage to the flooring. When the machine is in its idle state, the hot-air blower’s air volume is automatically reduced, minimizing noise emissions. The machine’s display clearly shows and allows easy adjustment of the three critical welding parameters: temperature, speed, and air volume. The design also accommodates various welding rod diameters (e.g., 5 mm, 4 mm, and 3 mm). Adjusting the pressure roller’s contact pressure is facilitated with an adjusting screw, and the pressure roller can be folded up, simplifying the insertion of the welding rod without tilting the UNIFLOOR 500.
An additional flap attached to the pressure roller conserves preheating air, enhancing reliable grouting of natural linoleum and rubber floor coverings. The welding rod roll holder has been optimized compared to its predecessors in the UNIFLOOR E/S models, making it quick and easy to attach using a screw. This allows for the ideal positioning of various welding rod rolls or spools available in the market. An integrated side cutter on the transport axis ensures users always have the right tool on hand for cutting the welding rod at the end of each joint.
